On December 12, 2024, the “Hong Kong Corporate Governance and ESG Excellence Awards 2024” presentation ceremony, jointly organized by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy of Hong Kong Baptist University, was held at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Yuexiu Property Company Limited stood out among listed companies in Hong Kong and was honored with the Environmental, Social and Governance Excellence Award 2024 in the Hang Seng Composite Index Constituent Companies category. This award not only recognizes Yuexiu Property's continuous progress in the field of ESG but also encourages the company to remain steadfastly committed to promoting the sustainable development of the real estate industry and deepening ESG initiatives in the future.

In 2024, the listed companies competing for this award spanned a wide range of key industries such as technology, retail, real estate, etc., including many well-known leaders within their respective sectors. After two rounds of rigorous and meticulous selection process by the Expert Review Panel and the Judging Panel, only 28 listed companies were selected. Yuexiu Property was one of only three listed companies in the Hang Seng Composite Index Constituent Companies category to receive the “ESG Excellence Award” for its remarkable achievements in environmental, social and governance aspects.

The Judging Panel of the “Hong Kong Corporate Governance and ESG Excellence Awards” highlighted in its evaluation speech that Yuexiu Property has a comprehensive ESG governance structure, and the Company has demonstrated its ongoing improvement in ESG management, and the Personal Carbon Footprint System, which officially launched in 2024, fully reflecting its firm commitment to environmental protection. By proactively addressing climate change issues and introducing a sustainable finance framework, Yuexiu Property successfully issued its first green dim sum bond to support various sustainable development measures. The Judging Panel highly commends Yuexiu Property's performance in ESG and is pleased to recognize its achievements with an ESG Excellence Award.
